Terms of Service
This is an English translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Service is to set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Jigi AI (the "Service") and its users (each a "Member") in connection with the use of the AI customer service and reservation chatbot service for small businesses provided by Jigi AI.
Article 1-2 (Acceptance and Changes to these Terms)
- By signing up for or using the Service, the Member agrees to these Terms.
- When Jigi AI amends these Terms, it will post the amended Terms in the Service, stating the effective date and the reason for the change, at least 7 days before they take effect (at least 30 days for changes unfavorable to Members). Notice of changes unfavorable to Members will also be sent individually to the contact details the Member has registered, such as email. The notice will state that a Member who does not object by the effective date is deemed to accept the change.
- A Member who keeps using the Service after the effective date without objecting is deemed to accept the amended Terms. A Member who does not agree may cancel at any time. Fee increases, however, are governed by Article 4, not by this Article.
Article 2 (Description of the Service)
Jigi AI provides the following:
- Creation and operation of an AI customer service chatbot based on the Member's business information
- A feature that builds a draft chatbot from information the Member enters or imports, with the Member's own consent, from the Member's own publicly listed business information on services such as Naver Map
- A web page link for the chatbot and a widget for embedding it in a website
- Additional features such as automatic multilingual responses (Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese) and taking reservation requests
Article 3 (Fees, Free Trial and Payment)
- Fees: The fee for the Service is KRW 38,000 per month per business when paid in Korean won, or US$29 per month when paid in US dollars, tax included. The launch price is set out in Article 4. The billing currency and the amount actually charged are shown at checkout.
- Free trial: Members can use the Service free of charge for 14 days without registering a payment method. The Member is told on screen, during sign-up or business registration, when the trial starts. When the trial ends, the chatbot stops responding to guests, and nothing is charged automatically. The Member can resume using the Service by making a payment. The free trial is offered once per business, and Jigi AI may restrict repeated trials by the same business or the same person.
- Payment methods: Members may pay by one of the methods shown at checkout.
- Card and digital wallet payments: Our order process is conducted by our online resellers Paddle.com and Creem. The reseller shown at checkout is the Merchant of Record for that order and handles payment, invoicing, sales tax/VAT, billing support and refunds. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders placed through the Paddle checkout, and Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders. When paying, the Member also agrees to that reseller's buyer terms (for Paddle, the Paddle Buyer Terms). Jigi AI does not store card details itself.
- Bank transfer: The Member pays the monthly fee into the bank account designated by Jigi AI. For bank-transfer payments, Jigi AI is the seller. The usage period starts or is extended from the time Jigi AI confirms the payment.
- Recurring billing: If the Member subscribes by card or digital wallet, the subscription fee (the same amount unless changed under Article 4) is charged automatically every month from the date of the first payment until the Member cancels. Once the subscription is cancelled, no charges are made from the next billing date. Bank transfers are never debited automatically; before the payment date, Jigi AI sends the Member an email about the fee for the month.
- Billing currency: When paying in US dollars (for example, through Creem), the Korean won amount shown on the Member's card statement may vary with the exchange rate at the time of payment and card issuer fees.
- Proof of payment: For card and digital wallet payments, the receipt (invoice) issued by the reseller can be used as proof of the expense. Because these payments are made through an overseas reseller, Korean electronic tax invoices (전자세금계산서) are not issued. No tax invoice or cash receipt is issued for fees paid by bank transfer; on request, Jigi AI will email a confirmation of the deposit.
Article 4 (Launch Price and Fee Changes)
- Launch price: Businesses that start their free trial by November 30, 2026 receive a launch price of KRW 25,000 per month (US$19 per month when paid in US dollars), which continues to apply for as long as the subscription is maintained. If the Member subscribes again after the subscription has ended, the fee in effect at that time applies.
- Fee changes: Jigi AI may change its fees. As a rule, a changed fee applies to Members who subscribe, or subscribe again, after the change. To increase the fee for an existing recurring subscription, Jigi AI will notify the Member at least 30 days before the effective date, both in the Service and through the contact details the Member has registered (such as email), stating the date of the change, the fee before and after the change, the payment method, and the conditions, method and effect of cancelling, and will ask for the Member's explicit consent within the 30 days before the effective date. A Member who does not consent will not be charged the increased fee; the subscription then ends without further charge at the end of the period already paid for.
- For businesses on the launch price, fee increases do not apply for as long as the subscription is maintained.
Article 5 (Fair Use Policy)
- The free trial and paid subscriptions include 3,000 AI response messages per business per month (counted as answers generated by the AI; fixed menu-board or button-based information is not counted). This comfortably covers normal business operations.
- If the monthly limit is exceeded, AI responses may be temporarily restricted for that month. In that case, the chatbot gives guests the business's contact details. The limit resets every month.
- If abnormal use, such as automated bulk requests, is detected, Jigi AI may restrict use of the Service.
Article 6 (Right of Withdrawal, Refunds and Cancellation)
- Free trial: No fees are charged during the free trial, and nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends.
- Refunds: A Member who requests a refund within the periods below will receive a full refund of that payment. A refund immediately ends the subscription paid for by that payment.
- The business's first payment (by any payment method): within 30 days of the payment date
- Any later payment (monthly automatic renewals and monthly bank transfers): within 14 days of the payment date
- Other refunds: Even after these periods, if the Member could not use the Service for reasons not attributable to the Member (for example, a serious defect that made the Service practically unusable), Jigi AI will refund the fee for the period the Service could not be used. Where applicable law provides otherwise, the law applies.
- Cancellation: The Member may cancel the subscription at any time in the Service or by email ([email protected]). Once the subscription is cancelled, no charges are made from the next billing date, and the Service remains available until the end of the period already paid for.
- Processing time: Jigi AI will cancel the payment or issue the refund within 3 business days of the day it receives the refund request. Card and digital wallet payments are cancelled through the reseller that processed them, and depending on the card issuer, it may take a few more days for the refund to appear. Fees paid by bank transfer are refunded to the refund account the Member provides.
- Statutory rights: This Article does not limit the Member's right of withdrawal or other rights under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. (전자상거래법) or other applicable laws. For payments made through Paddle or Creem, that reseller's buyer terms and refund policy also apply, and where they differ from these Terms, the condition more favorable to the Member applies.
- Further details are set out in the Refund Policy.
Article 7 (Member Obligations and Warranties — Business Information)
- Members may import or register information only for businesses they operate themselves or for which they hold legitimate authority.
- Members warrant that they hold the rights to, or have legitimate authority to use, the content they import into the Service (business name, menu, description, photos, etc.).
- Impersonating another person's business, registering a business without authority, and registering false information are prohibited.
- Quotations of third-party works, such as customer reviews, are posted with the source credited and within the scope the Member has reviewed and approved. Jigi AI may delete such content at the Member's request or at the legitimate request of the rights holder.
- The Member is responsible for any disputes or damages arising from a breach of the above warranties. Jigi AI may deactivate a chatbot found to be in breach, giving the reason in advance and an opportunity to respond; in urgent cases, such as impersonation or infringement of rights, Jigi AI will deactivate it first and notify the Member without delay. Jigi AI will notify the Member before deleting it.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property)
Rights to the Service itself (software, design, trademarks, etc.) belong to Jigi AI. Rights to content entered or provided by a Member belong to the Member, and the Member agrees that Jigi AI may use and process that content (storing, indexing, translating, etc.) to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
No one may collect, copy, reprocess or redistribute the content or data of the Service or its chatbots by automated means such as crawlers, scrapers or bots without Jigi AI's prior written consent. Collection that violates access restrictions indicated by Jigi AI, such as robots.txt, is prohibited, and violations may result in blocked access and legal action.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
- The AI chatbot's responses are generated from information provided or connected by the Member, and Jigi AI does not guarantee that the responses are completely accurate. The Member is responsible for keeping final information (prices, opening hours, reservations, etc.) accurate.
- Jigi AI does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Jigi AI is not liable for damage caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters or outages of external services (payment, AI APIs, etc.).
Article 10 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
Jigi AI may add or change features, and may suspend all or part of the Service where necessary for operational or technical reasons. Important changes will be announced in advance. If the Service is discontinued entirely, Jigi AI will give 30 days' notice and refund the fees for the remainder of any period already paid for.
Article 10-2 (Suspension and Termination)
Jigi AI may restrict use of the Service or terminate the agreement if the Member materially or repeatedly breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, fails to pay fees, or where there is a security or fraud risk. In that case, Jigi AI will give the reason in advance and an opportunity to respond. In urgent cases, such as illegal content, impersonation of others or infringement of rights, Jigi AI will act first and notify the Member without delay.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes between Jigi AI and a Member are subject to the jurisdiction of the court determined under the procedures set out in the relevant laws.
